Attention all ladies in the Southern Region of the NFDW.  Registration is now open for the annual Southern Regional Meeting which will be held in Little Rock, Arkansas on Friday, October 21, 2011.  The event is being hosted by the Arkansas Democratic Women and they have worked very hard to set up an informative and enjoyable meeting.

The Southern Regional Meeting will be held at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and will include breakfast and lunch, guest speakers, workshop, and a tour of the Library.  President Clinton has also been asked to speak to our group via satellite and we are looking forward to chatting with him about issues and about the very important election cycle approaching.

A registration form and tentative schedule is attached and a hard copy will be mailed also.  Registration deadline is September 30, 2011.

A list of local hotels and contact information is included in the Registration Form for your convenience.  We will conclude our day's activities on Friday by 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. to allow for some sight-seeing and dinner on your own.  A Saturday morning breakfast and concluding meeting may be added to our schedule and when that is ironed out, I will send out additional information.

Please distribute this information to your club members right  away so that they too may begin making plans to attend.  The Arkansas women have worked very hard to host a terrific meeting and for those of you who may not have had the opportunity to visit the Presidential Library, this is a meeting you will not want to miss.  A couple of states have even mentioned chartering a bus to bring a large group and what a wonderful way to spend some time with our Democratic sisters.
